I’ve been reflecting on the year 2019 and how things have gone so far. You know me, I’m a pretty positive-thinking guy. So, I had set some big goals of things I planned on accomplishing this year; dreams I’ve had, places to see, people to meet, fun activities like camping, fishing, playing music wherever and whenever possible. Certainly, I had some big career goals in place, things to help me to be of service to more people.

One of the things on my “To Do” list for this year was to keep in better contact with the people who are most important to me, to my family and to my business (that would be you).  You are an important part of my life and, no matter what, I want you to know that.

Well, as my dad has tried to teach me, we must deal with life on life’s terms. Never has that lesson been pounded into me harder than this year.

In the spring, a very close friend of mine passed away unexpectedly. Then, this summer, our family was dealt another tragedy, when we suddenly lost a family member to death. Needless to say, neither of these events was on my radar, so to say I was caught off-guard is an understatement.

The support we have received has been nothing short of remarkable. Your prayers have been heard and answered, I am sure of that. For me, I couldn’t do what I am doing without the love, support and prayers of so many. So, for that and so much more, thank you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I want you to know these things do not go unnoticed and that you are appreciated.  We are doing our best to power through the struggles, and with God’s help, we shall overcome. Though the flesh may be weak, our faith is strong, and we know in Whom we trust.

I recently attended a real estate retreat in northern California. While doing some inner reflection during a coaching session, I had an Epiphone, an “A-HA moment.”  I had been watching the old movie, “City Slickers.” There is a scene where two friends are making an effort to support their buddy, whose life has recently fallen apart. They remind him of their childhood, how when they were playing a game, and something went wrong, they would call out, “DO OVER!” And they would be able to do exactly that. They encouraged him to do that during the recent trials of his life.

Well, while I don’t believe my life has totally fallen apart, I have been somewhat off track. So, in that light, I’m calling out, “DO OVER!” Time to pick myself up by my bootstraps and get busy! Time to let others (you) know I am there for them (for you), as they (you) have been there for me.

As one of my very close friends, I have placed you in my very own “Top 50 Club.”  To me, this means that, over the years, you have been great, not only as an addition to my life, but as a crucial part of my business. With your permission, on occasion, I would simply like to check in, follow up, and keep up with current events in your life, and keep you in the loop on mine, as well.

Also, I would like to ask you one favor.  If ever you or anyone you care about may need real estate advice or information, please feel free to contact me right away. Rest assured, you will not be bothering me, and I promise to do the best I can to be of assistance. I love helping people with their real estate questions and needs, so you will actually be doing me a great service.  I will always do my very best to make you the hero. Plus, it will give us a chance to catch up on current events in your life as well.  I look forward to speaking with you very soon.

Kind regards,
